Satavic Farms

We provide training (including group training in cities) and advisory services to farmhouses, home gardens, private rural retreats and homesteads anywhere in India who wish to grow food and/or ornamental plants organically and for personal interest. This includes organic hobbyists who grow organic food for home consumption in their farmhouses or home gardens and private gardens which grow only ornamentals. The training and advisory programmes for such clients is completely customised, practical, non-technical and designed to meet their needs.

We provide training and advice to farmhouse owners and home gardening enthusiasts on a number of areas, including :

• Production and/or use of composts, vermicompost and liquid manures
• Use of natural pest control methods
• Agnihotra
• Use of panchakavya, biodynamics and effective microorganisms
• Reduction in use of water
• Development of nutrition gardens
• Soil fertility improvement and maintenance using a combination of techniques
• Layout and design of farmhouses and home gardens (we do not provide landscaping services but can work in association with your landscaper)
